# Watchwise Home agent service

Watchwise Home is a public, read-only smart-home review site. Its first structured task is finding and reading the four-row eufy camera comparison used by the homepage.

## Retrieval path

Use `GET https://www.watchwisehome.com/api/lookup` with one or more bounded parameters:

- `id=solocam-s340` for one stable record.
- `query=open%20yard` for a text match.
- `use_case=open-yard` for a known recommendation category.
- `max_price_usd=200`, `solar=true`, or `continuous_recording=true` for transparent filters.

The endpoint returns `data`, `count`, stable `id` values, qualifiers, `verification_date`, `source_url`, and official product links. An unknown id returns HTTP 404 with an explicit `not_found` error; an empty filter result returns HTTP 200 with `data: []`.

The same lookup is available through the read-only MCP tool `site_lookup` at `https://www.watchwisehome.com/mcp`. Discover it using the MCP server card at `/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`.

## Source and limits

The source record is the public comparison CSV and the corresponding homepage review. Prices are official US eufy-store prices observed on 2026-09-12; they are not live inventory or a purchase API. Preserve the date and qualifiers, cite the returned `source_url`, answer in the visitor's language, and keep unknown facts unknown.
