Apple Home compatibility

Which eufy cameras work with Apple HomeKit?

Some do, but “eufy camera” is not enough to establish compatibility. eufy’s current US buying guide lists the eufyCam S3 Pro, Indoor Cam E30, and Indoor Cam E220. Older supported models include the Indoor Cam 2K and eufyCam 2/2 Pro/2C/2C Pro; the battery eufyCam models in that older group require HomeBase 2. SoloCam S220 and S340, eufyCam S330/3, and Floodlight Cam E340 are not HomeKit-compatible in eufy’s model-specific support pages. Check the printed model number before checkout.

Checked: October 10, 2026. Compatibility lists and firmware can change; the model-specific product page and the box’s Apple Home label are the final checks for the exact regional SKU.

Start with the exact model name

Camera familyApple Home status in eufy documentationWhat to verify
eufyCam S3 ProListed in eufy’s current 2026 Apple Home guide.Confirm whether your package includes or requires HomeBase S380, then check the exact SKU’s Apple Home feature list.
Indoor Cam E30 / Indoor Cam E220Listed in eufy’s current 2026 Apple Home guide.Do not confuse Indoor Cam E220 with SoloCam S220. The SoloCam S220 FAQ explicitly says it does not support HomeKit.
Indoor Cam 2K / Pan & Tilt 2KListed in eufy’s legacy HomeKit support article.Check the product number and whether the camera authorizes Apple Home directly in the eufy app.
eufyCam 2 / 2 Pro / 2C / 2C ProListed in eufy’s legacy support article when connected to HomeBase 2.HomeBase 2 is part of the compatibility path; do not assume HomeBase 3 or a different base generation is interchangeable.
SoloCam S220 / S340, eufyCam S330 (eufyCam 3/3C), Floodlight Cam E340Model-specific eufy support material says no HomeKit support.Alexa or Google Assistant support is a separate feature and does not imply Apple Home support.

The lists above are a purchasing cross-check, not a promise that every camera in a named family has identical firmware or regional packaging. eufy’s newer guide and older support article describe different generations. If a listing uses a bundle name rather than the camera’s product number, ask the seller to confirm that number before ordering.

Apple Home and HomeKit Secure Video are different checks

Apple Home compatibility can provide a live view, notifications, and smart-home controls. HomeKit Secure Video (HSV) is a separate recording option that stores supported camera footage in iCloud. Do not treat “works with Apple Home” as proof that HSV is supported: eufy maintains separate setup instructions for HomeKit Secure Video, and the newer camera guide says HSV requires an Apple home hub and an active iCloud+ plan.

There is also a resolution trade-off. eufy says Apple Home video is limited to 1080p even when the camera can record at a higher native resolution. Its feature guide notes that pan-and-tilt control, AI tracking, dual-camera views, and some night-vision controls may be available only in the eufy app or limited in Apple Home. If you are buying a dual-lens or tracking model, compare the control you need in each app before making Apple Home your only interface.

Practical rule: choose the camera by its standalone job first, then verify Apple Home as a second compatibility layer. If you need every camera feature in Apple Home, a compatibility badge alone is not sufficient.

Use this three-part check before buying

  1. Read the camera label. Record the model name and product number from the listing or package. Keep “Indoor Cam E220” and “SoloCam S220” separate; similar numbers do not mean the same device.
  2. Check the connection path. Confirm whether that exact camera pairs directly, needs HomeBase 2, or uses another base. Compatibility with a HomeBase feature does not automatically make a camera compatible with Apple Home.
  3. Check the Apple feature you mean. Look for standard Apple Home support, HSV recording, remote viewing, and controls such as pan/tilt or tracking individually. If a capability is not stated for your product number, treat it as unconfirmed.

What to do if the camera is missing from Apple Home

First rule out a model mismatch. Then finish setup in the eufy app and open the camera or HomeBase settings for an “Apple Home” or “HomeKit” authorization option. eufy’s current setup guide says battery-powered devices use a HomeBase bridge, while supported wired devices may authorize directly. Keep the phone and device on the same Wi-Fi network during setup. If the exact model is unsupported, repeating the pairing flow or changing HomeBase generations will not add HomeKit compatibility.
